There are many restaurants and convenience stores that offer a military or veteran discount year-round, but so many more participate and crank up the generosity on Veteran’s Day. Veteran’s Day 2024 is no exception, and we have a list of OVER 100 complimentary meals & restaurant discounts this year!

Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant -- Veterans and active-duty military can choose one free entrée from the Veterans Day menu on November 11 at select locations.
Applebee's -- Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal from a select menu on November 11 at participating locations. Dine-in only.
Aspen Creek Grill - On Nov. 11th, all veterans and active duty military can select from a complimentary menu
Bad Daddy's Burger Bar - All active, retired, and former military members who stop into a Bad Daddy's Burger Bar location on Veterans Day will receive a complimentary All-American Burger with a side of chips.
Bakers Square - Veterans get a free Rise & Shine breakfast on Veterans Day; this meal includes two eggs with seasoned hash browns or fresh fruit, plus your choice of toast, buttermilk pancakes, English muffin, bakery muffin or biscuit. Veterans will also receive a 20% off coupon for a future dining experience between November 12 and November 30.
Bar Louie -- Bar Louie Veterans Day Freebies – Active and retired military receive a free craft burger or flatbread of choice, with valid ID, at participating locations.
bb.q Chicken -- Veterans and active-duty military get 25% off all orders placed in-store on November 11.
Biggby Coffee -- Veterans and active-duty service members receive a free 16oz beverage of their choice on November 11.
Biscuit Belly -- Veterans eat free on November 11 with choice of Bacon Egg & Cheese, Sausage Egg & Cheese, or Chicken Biscuit Sandwich and a hot drip coffee or fountain drink. All locations are participating, dine in only. Open from 7:30am - 2:00pm.
BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse -- On November 11, veterans and current military members receive a free entrée from a select menu. Dine-in only.
Black Angus Steakhouse -- Participating restaurants offer veterans and active military professionals an 8 oz Certified Angus Beef® Top Sirloin, Home-Style Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli with Garlic Butter, and a Non-Alcoholic Beverage for $10.99. Dine in and takeout. Must show military ID.
Bob Evans -- Veterans and active-duty military get a free meal from a select Bob Evans menu on November 11. Dine-in only.
Bombshells Restaurant and Bar -- All locations in Texas will provide free entrees for veterans on November 11. Other items will be discounted 20%. Families accompanying veterans, and active-duty service members and their accompanying families, will receive a 20% discount on entrees and other items on Veterans Day. Alcoholic beverages are excluded.
Bonefish Grill -- Active-duty service members and veterans get a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage on November 11 with valid ID.
Bruegger's Bagels -- Active military members, reservists, veterans, and military spouses can stop into Bruegger’s Bagels for a free medium coffee on Veterans Day.
Bubba Gump Shrimp - 20% off meal on Nov. 11 for veterans, one per check for parties up to 4
Buffalo Wild Wings -- Veterans and active-duty service members get a free order of 10 Boneless Wings and Fries on November 11 with valid ID. Only available for dine-in. Buffalo Wild Wings GO locations will be included for walk-in/order at the counter only.
Buffalo's Cafe -- All dine-in veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary entree from the menu (up to a $17.99 value) on November 11. Must present military ID or wear military uniform.
BurgerFi -- Veterans and active-duty military get 20% off their entire order on November 11 at participating locations for dine-in only. Guests must present their military ID.
Calhoun's -- There will be a special menu of meals for veterans at no charge with a valid military ID to choose from on Veterans Day at all Calhoun’s Locations!
California Fish Grill -- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel get a complimentary taco and soft drink.
California Pizza Kitchen - Veterans and active-duty military members get a complimentary meal from a select menu on November 11. They will also receive a BOGO offer to redeem for a pizza, pasta or salad that can be redeemed for a future visit between November 12 through November 25, 2024.
Caribou Coffee -- Veterans, active-duty military members and their spouses with a valid ID receive a Small Hot Brewed Coffee of the Day or Cold Press, excluding nitro on November 11.
Carolina Ale House -- Veterans and military members receive a free half rack rib platter with coleslaw and fries on November 11 at participating locations.
Carrabba's -- From November 8 through 10, order an entrée when you dine-in and take home another entrée of equal or lesser value for free. Then on November 11, order a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a free nonalcoholic beverage. Veterans and active-duty military are asked to show a service ID.
Casey's General Stores -- On November 11, past and present service members get a free, any size coffee or fountain drink.
Cattlemens -- Active, inactive, and retired military personnel get a complimentary sirloin steak dinner in honor of Veterans Day. Sign up on their website on or before November 11 to receive your steak certificate. The offer will be emailed on November 12 and will be valid from November 12 through 22 for outdoor dining or dine-in.
Charleys Cheesesteaks -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free Cheesesteak on November 11. Free small or regular cheesesteak at domestic non-AAFES locations. In-store only.
Chick-fil-A -- Chick-fil-A Veterans Day – Chick-fil-A offers a free chicken sandwich for all active-duty personnel and veterans at participating franchises. Show your military or veteran ID when you ask for a military or Veterans Day discount. Please contact your local Chick-fil-A restaurant for more information.
Chicken Salad Chick -- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal at all locations.
Chili's -- Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal on November 11 at all participating restaurants. Available in-restaurant only for select items. Military ID required to redeem offer.
Cicis Pizza - Any active or retired military member with proof of service can get a free adult buffet at Cicis on November 11 for Veterans Day.
City Barbeque - All military members and veterans can visit City Barbeque all day on Saturday, November 11, to get a free sandwich, one side, and a drink. *This Veterans Day free meal deal is valid at all City Barbeque locations.
Claim Jumper -- Claim Jumper Steakhouse & Bar will be celebrating Veterans Day with a free dine-in meal for all veterans and active military members from a special menu.
Coco's Bakery Restaurant -- Shari’s and Coco’s Restaurants are offering all veterans and active duty service members a free slice of pie, along with a “Buy One, Get One” free deal at all locations. Buy one get one free entree of equal or lesser value; valid for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Limit one complimentary pie slice per entrée ordered. All offers valid for dine-in or take-out orders; online and delivery not included.
Cotton Patch Cafe - This Veterans Day, we’re serving those who have served us. Join us at any of our Cafes for a free Chicken Fried Steak or Chicken Fried Chicken Entrée with a valid military ID.
Cracker Barrel -- A slice of Coca-Cola Cake available to veterans with any purchase.
Craft Republic -- Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal from a select menu on November 11.
Dave & Buster's -- Veterans get a free entree (up to $20) and a free $10 Power Card with a valid veterans ID card on November 11.
Denny's - Veterans and active-duty military personnel receive a free Original Grand Slam on November 11 from 5am to 12pm. Must show valid Military ID or DD214.
Dickey’s Barbecue Pit -- All Veterans and active duty military members receive a free Pulled Pork Classic Sandwich.
Dunkin' -- Dunkin’ is giving all veterans and active military a free donut of their choice on Veterans Day.
Einstein Bros. Bagels - Veterans are eligible for a free (hot or iced) coffee on Veterans Day! Thank you for your service!
Famous Dave's - Free Georgia Chopped Pork Sandwich + Side – for veterans and current military members. Bring proof of service. Participating locations only. Valid for Dine-In, To Go, and Online Ordering at participating Famous Dave's locations.
Farmer Boys -- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free Big Cheese burger at participating locations. The offer is valid for dine-in only with proof of service and is limited to one per service member.
Fazoli’s - If you’re a veteran, you can stop into your local Fazoli’s on November 10 or 11, 2024, to get free spaghetti with meat sauce or marinara. Not all locations are participating, so call before you go. Proof of military service is required before you can get your free Veterans Day food, so make sure you bring valid military ID, your discharge card, or wear your uniform. You might need to join Fazoli’s eFamily email club to take advantage of this Veterans Day free food offer.
Pilot Flying J - In honor of Veterans Day, a free meal is available for all US military veterans and their families who visit any of the 750+ participating Pilot Flying J Travel Centers across the country on November 10, 11, or 12.
Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steakburgers -- Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations on November 11 will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.
Gold Star Chili -- On November 11, veterans and active-duty military get a complimentary meal of their choice (up to $12 off their order with proof of service). For dine-in, carry out or drive-thru.
Golden Corral -- Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on November 11, from 5 pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.
Green Mill - Veterans and active-duty military get a free menu item at participating locations on November 11. Dine-in only. Veterans also save 10% every day!
Greene Turtle -- Veterans get a free meal on November 11. Plus, military and veterans get 15% off every day!
Hacienda Mexican Restaurant -- Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Large Wet Burrito when they dine-in OR carryout on November 11.
Handel's Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt - Veterans can enjoy a free scoop of ice cream at participating Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream & Yogurt's across the country this year on Veterans Day.
Hooters -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free entrée from the Hooters Veterans Day Menu with the purchase of a beverage on November 11. Dine-in only.
Hoss's Steak and Sea House -- Veterans and active-duty military receive free soup, salad, bread, nacho, and dessert bar and iced tea on November 11. Dine-in only. No other discounts apply. In addition, veterans will receive a $10 off $40 voucher to be used on a future visit in the month of November. Must show proof of military service to be eligible.
Houlihan’s - Veterans, active duty military and military families get $10 off a $30 food purchase at participating locations on November 11. This offer is valid for in restaurant dining or for carryout.
Huddle House - Vets can enjoy a free MVP Breakfast Platter with a show of a valid military ID.
Hurricane Grill and Wings -- Veterans and active duty can have a free menu item off our special menu at participating locations. Contact your local Hurricane for more details.
Hy-Vee -- Veterans and military personnel receive a free breakfast from 6 am to 10 am on Veterans Day.
IHOP – IHOP continues to celebrate and honor veterans on Veteran’s Day by offering free Red, White & Blue Pancakes or a Pancake Combo from 7 AM-7 PM for dine-in service only. Additionally, a Military ID or proof of service is required.
In-N-Out Burger -- On November 11, veterans, active-duty military, reserves and National Guard receive a complimentary meal, including any burger, fries, and beverage on In-N-Out Burger’s menu. Present proof of military service.
Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant -- Veterans and active-duty service members with proof of service who dine in on November 11 get a complimentary burger or sandwich along with a non-alcoholic beverage.
Joe’s Crabshack -- 20% off your meal with a valid ID. Veterans and active-duty service members get a free meal at participating locations on November 11.
Joella’s Hot Chicken - Veterans, active-duty military and reserves get a complimentary meal consisting of two Jumbo Tenders, a made-from-scratch Southern side, a Dippin’ sauce and a drink on November 11.
Kings Family Restaurant -- Veterans and active-duty military members get a free meal from a select menu on November 11.
Kolache Factory -- Veterans and active-duty military receive one free kolache (any kind) and one cup of freshly brewed Katz coffee (any size) on November 11, 6am to 2pm. with valid ID. Offer excludes croissants, Polish varieties, and espresso drinks.
Kona Grill -- Veterans and active-duty military receive 50% off food from November 10 to 13.
Lion’s Choice -- Lion’s Choice offers a free original roast beef sandwich for active-duty and retired military members on November 11. Guests can request their free sandwich at check-out by stating they are a veteran or showing a valid ID.
Little Caesars - Veterans and military personnel can get a free lunch combo between 11 am and 2 p.m. on Veterans Day.
Logan's Roadhouse -- 3-6 pm All veterans and active duty military receive a free American Roadhouse Meal.
McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants -- Veterans, National Guard, Gold Star parents, and Gold Star spouses can enjoy a half-priced entrée from a special menu on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants. Please contact your nearest location for confirmation & details.
McDonald’s -- All veterans and active duty military visiting showing a valid ID at participating McDonald’s restaurants will receive a free Breakfast Combo Meal from 6:30 am to 10:30 am central.
Menchie's -- Veterans and active-duty military get their first 6 oz of froyo free on November 11 with valid ID.
Metro Diner -- Active-duty and retired military receive 50% with valid military ID on November 11.
Native Grill & Wings -- Veterans and active-duty military who dine-in on November 11 get a choice of ½ LB Stripper Combo, ½ LB Boneless Combo or Native Burger w/ fries for free. Must present military ID or wear military uniform.
Next Level Burger -- Veterans, active-duty military and their families get 50% off their dining tabs on November 11. In-store only. Mention your military affiliation at the register to receive this discount.
Ninety Nine Restaurant and Pub -- On November 10 from opening to 5pm, veterans and active-duty military get a free lunch from a special menu with the purchase of another entrée. Available for dine-in only.
O'Charley's – All veterans and active duty personnel will receive a FREE ENTREE on Veterans Day.
Old Chicago - Active or retired military get a free individual specialty or 3-topping pizza on November 11. Offer available for dine-in and takeout. Offer not valid on online ordering or any third-party services. Valid at participating Old Chicago locations only.
Olive Garden -- Free Meal – Olive Garden is having a Veterans Day free meal for all active-duty military and military veterans on Veterans Day 2024.
Outback Steakhouse -- Stop into any Outback Steakhouse on Monday, November 11, 2024, for a free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola product. This offer is for all military personnel that has a military ID.
Peet's Coffee -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free small drip coffee or tea on November 11 at participating locations with proof of service.
Perkins - Any veteran with valid military ID can visit a Perkins Restaurant & Bakery on Saturday, November 11, for a free Magnificent 7 platter, which consists of two eggs, two strips of bacon, and three pancakes. *It's possible that not every Perkins location is participating, so be sure to call ahead of time to make sure.
Perry's Steakhouse & Grille -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free pork chop on November 10. Dine-in only from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm. Offer available when accompanied by a guest purchasing one lunch or dinner entree. On November 11, get a 3-course menu for $39, dine-in only from 4 pm to 6 pm. Reservations and military ID are required for both deals.
Pilot Flying J -- Veterans get a free meal at participating locations on November 11 through a special offer in the app.
Red Lobster -- In honor of Veterans Day and to thank veterans, active-duty military, and reservists for their service, Red Lobster is giving away FREE printed meal vouchers* for Veterans Shrimp & Chips—featuring six hand-breaded, butterflied and lightly fried shrimp, served with cocktail sauce, as well as crispy French Fries and Coleslaw—from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm local time on November 11. Guests only need to show a valid military ID or proof of service to redeem.
Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military guests can enjoy a complimentary Red's Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Side when dining in at participating restaurants on November 11.
Rock and Brews -- Active-duty military and veterans get complimentary “We Salute You” Pulled Pork Sandwich or Strawberry Fields Salads on November 11.
Round Table Pizza -- Share a little Pizza with a veteran you love. Get 15% off your order on November 11 with code VET15.
Scooter’s Coffee -- Free drink for military veterans when they present their military I.D. This is available at participating locations.
Shane's Rib Shack -- Active, inactive, and retired military personnel get a free BBQ Pork or Chopped Chicken Plate November 9 to 11. Proof of service required, in-store only.
Shari's -- Veterans and active-duty military receive a free Homestyle Breakfast on November 11. Available for dine-in only.
Sheetz - Sheetz will be giving veterans and active military members a free lunch on Saturday, November 11. The free Veterans Day lunch includes a half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink.
Shrimp Basket -- Veterans, active-duty military and Reserves get a free popcorn shrimp basket from any location on November 11 with valid military ID. Dine-in only.
Sizzler -- On November 11, participating locations offer a free lunch to any active-duty military or veteran until 4:00m. Choose between a free Half Dozen Crispy Shrimp, Malibu Chicken, or 6oz Tri-Tip Steak entree.
Smokey Bones - All Smokey Bones locations are offering a free Create Your Own Combo for veterans and active military with ID on Saturday, November 11.
Smoothie King -- Active-duty military and veterans get a free smoothie from one of three red, white, and blue smoothies at participating locations on November 11 with a valid ID.
Sonny's BBQ -- Veterans and active-duty military get a Free Pork Big Deal November 11. Go to their registration page to verify your military status and get your coupon. Available for dine-in, takeout and drive-thru.
Starbucks -- Starbucks is honoring those who have served with a free tall (12-ounce) brewed coffee (hot or iced) for veterans, military service members and military spouses at participating U.S. stores and licensed locations on November 11.
Sugarfire Smoke House -- Sugarfire Smoke House offers active-duty and retired military members a free cheeseburger special on November 11.
Sweet Buzz Bean & Bistro -- Active-duty military, veterans and their spouses get a choice of complimentary meals (Egg, Cheese, Bacon or Sausage Sandwich with tater tots, Triple Decker Club & side dish or Cobb Salad) on November 10 and 11.
TCBY -- Veterans and active military personnel get their first 6 oz. of frozen yogurt for free on November 11 at participating locations.
Texas Roadhouse - At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucher on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a form of military ID. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out at a later time. The voucher is good until May 30, 2025. If you choose to dine in on November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, there will be a specific menu to select from.
TGI Fridays - Veterans and active-duty military personnel get a free meal on November 11 from 11am to 3pm from a select menu.
Walk-On's - On Veterans Day, Walk-On's is offering a free scholarship burger and fries for dine-in veterans.
Wendy's - Wendy's thanks veterans and active military this year with a free breakfast combo on November 11.
White Castle -- Veterans and active-duty military get a free individual combo meal or a breakfast combo meal when dining at a participating restaurant on November 11.
WOB Bar & Kitchen -- Veterans and active-duty service members receive an order of one of WOB’s limited time Fall food items, the Crispy Chicken Sliders for free at participating locations, November 9 to 12. Present a military ID, VA card or proof of service.
